Our visit with Cousins in PLANO, TX...

We have never met our cousins Adam and Luke until this weekend...  They had lots of toys... kind of like TOYS R US in their rooms and they shared everything with us!
In the photo above, it's me, Mai... I really liked Adam... He's nice..and he's my new cousin!  I couldn't stop hugging him...and I really liked getting my photo taken with him! :)
Auntie Liz gave us so many snacks and treats.  She gave us everything she had in her pantry...Thanks, Auntie Liz!
When Uncle Brett got home from work, all we heard was random shouts of  "GO HAWKS"... hmm.... must run in the family or something...

We really liked their back yard... we really wanted to go for a swim in the pool, but we were told we could when we got older... Gee, so much to look forward to when we get just a little bit older :)...  Although, if you look really close at the photo above, we are swinging in BIG-girl swings, they aren't the bucket-swings you're used to seeing us in!  Uh-huh... and we rocked ourselves back and forth too, all by ourselves... Adam and Luke were climbing the bars... another thing I guess we'll have to wait 'til we get older to do :)...
Thanks for our new shades Auntie Liz... we see the whole world in PINK now... :)  We'll remember to remove the pink shades when we're learning our colors though...
Thanks Cousins for having us over!  We will come back soon for a dip in the pool :)...

Texas State Fair in DALLAS...

Sister and I had a great time at the TX State Fair...It was in Dallas, which was about a 5 hour drive from Victoria.
Sister and I worked hard at the farm.  We fed chickens, collected their eggs, milked cows, planted seeds, picked vegetables, and brought everything to the market to sell.  At the market, sister and I made 2 dollars.  Then, with our hard earned 2 dollars, sister and I bought ourselves some fruit snacks.  Working hard sure does pay-off...
Daddy played a game where he used a shotgun to shoot a star-target.  We were staring down Barney, hoping daddy would win it for us.  And before we knew it, Barney was in our truck making the five hour drive home with us!  We've taken very good care of Barney since we've brought him home.  Every morning, we'd run to say Good-morning to him, and each evening, we'd tuck him in with his big blank-ee.  He sleeps in the corner of our living room, since he's such a big friend.  If it were up to us, we would have asked daddy to win us 2 Barneys, but there was no way we would have all fit in the truck!  Someone would have had to stay in Dallas :).
Here's daddy trying out Guacamole bites... it's much like the Minnesota State Fair, but nothing's on-a-stick here in Texas...

We all liked the Texas Frito Pies.. Yes, Fritos are fried already... but these are with chili and cheese...  sister and I enjoyed them too with some sour cream!
This is Dao in a new vehicle... Thumbs up for all this room!  This one has my approval, daddy!
Fried Beer was interesting... but mommy and daddy said it was NOT tasty... something just wasn't right about it... but fun to try anyway...
Our favorite food at the fair was the Corny Dogs... Last year we remember having to share one, but since we're big-girls now, we got to have our own!  It was YUMMY....

The latest....

Hello everyone... it's Raegan and Riley again.  It's been about a month since we've written, but it's been a busy month for our family!  Everyone's doing great.

We have some updates about our new favorite foods.  Carrots with dip, and COOL RANCH doritos!  We also have a new hang out... Port Aransas Beach... we've been there every chance we get...  Mommy started work, but her schedule has been really nice.  It allows her to be home with us, which means more time to play, and more hugs and kisses for both of us!!!   It's a nice change from her residency schedule!

We have been busy exploring the state of Texas... Last weekend, we were in Houston... what a fun city!  Mommy really likes the Galleria mall :)... She kept whispering that it was so much better than the Mall of America...  We went to the Aquarium, and even had dinner in the middle of the aquarium... the sharks and sting rays were watching us eat our pasta!  We ended the evening with a horse carriage ride around downtown Houston.  It was great weather, almost 90 degrees.

Daddy has taught us so much about the town of Victoria... we know that it takes no longer than 5 minutes to get anywhere around here.  If it takes any longer than 5 minutes, you are leaving Victoria...  Daddy has also been keeping busy with little projects... he is refinishing some patio chairs and getting a little involved in some wood-working with a piece of antique furniture mommy really liked.  He gets to work on them during our afternoon naps.  He's clever about not making too much noise so it doesn't wake us.  Most fun of all, he's taught us the IOWA fight song, which we chant as a family right before prayer time every night!  It's quite fun...

We have enjoyed having visitors and playing in the sand.  Looking forward to nana and auntie Tami's visit in a few weeks.

We thought we overheard daddy mentioning that our next destination was DALLAS.. hmm... I wonder where that is?  I guess we'll find out soon. :)

We miss everyone... just wished some of you can see and hear all the things we've been able to say and sing :)....  Love you all and God Bless!!!

Ong's 60th birthday...

Daddy caught all sorts of fish using a casting net.  Cau Thai and daddy mainly used them for bait, but we had a great time playing with them.  Ong showed us ways to hold the fish, and we weren't scared at all.  It was quite fun when the fish would wiggle out of our little hands...

Cau Thai and Mu Annie took a nap on the beach... we just kept playing... we never nap when it's a day at the beach!!!

At the crab bridge in Magnolia, we caught lots of blue crab... Ong and Me were so happy... it was the greatest time we've seen them have in a long time... there were lots of smiles that day :)...
We were able to sing happy birthday to Ong, and even got to help him blow out all 60 of his candles.  The best part, we got to eat the icing and fruit from the cake!  YUM...
In the photo above, Cau Thai was teaching me how to reel in the line.  Good thing we didn't have a Red Drum at the end of the line, I would have ended up in the Gulf!

I think I'm going to be daddy's fishing buddy... "I will take care of the bait-fish, daddy!"
